Η Apple κυκλοφόρησε πριν από λίγο την iOS 14.1 στο ευρύ κοινό πριν την επίσημη διάθεση των iPhone 12 και iPhone 12 Pro την Παρασκευή στην αγορά. Η iOS 14.1 φέρνει υποστήριξη στα iPhone 12 χαρακτηριστικά καθώς και διορθώσεις σφαλμάτων αλλά και βελτιώσεις στο παρασκήνιο.
Η Apple κυκλοφόρησε επίσης την iPadOS 14.1 με υποστήριξη για το νέο iPad Air που και αυτό θα γίνει διαθέσιμο στην αγορά την Παρασκευή.
Η iOS 14.1 φέρνει υποστήριξη 10-bit HDR στην αναπαραγωγή βίντεο και στην επεξεργασία από την εφαρμογή Photos για συσκευές από το iPhone 8 και νεότερες συσκευές.
Επίσης η iOS 14.1 φέρνει επίσης διορθώσεις σφαλμάτων στα widgets της κεντρικής οθόνης καθώς και βελτιώσεις στις εφαρμογές Mail, Apple Music και αλλού.

- Resolves an issue where streaming video resolution could temporarily be reduced at the start of playback
- Fixes an issue that prevented setting up a family member’s Apple Watch for some users
- Resolves an issue where the Apple Watch case material was displayed incorrectly in the Apple Watch app
- Addresses an issue in the Files app that could cause some MDM-managed cloud service providers to incorrectly display content as unavailable
- Improves compatibility with Ubiquiti wireless access points
