    WSJ: Tα προβλήματα του 3D αισθητήρα καθυστερούν την παραγωγή του iPhone X

    H WSJ αναφέρει και αυτή με την σειρά της πως υπάρχουν προβλήματα στην παραγωγική αλυσίδα του iPhone X εξαιτίας προβλημάτων με των 3D αισθητήρα της συσκευής.

    Σε προηγούμενο δημοσίευμα μας σας είχαμε αναφέρει πως αναφορές από προμηθευτές της Apple ανέφεραν σημαντικά θέματα με την παραγωγή του 3D αισθητήρα της νέας εμπρόσθιας κάμερας του iPhone X. Τα προβλήματα μάλιστα είναι τόσο σοβαρά σύμφωνα με τα όσα διέρρευσαν που έχουμε παραγωγή μόνο δεκάδων χιλιάδων συσκευών την ημέρα.

    Η WSJ με την σειρά της επιβεβαιώνει και αυτή το παραπάνω τονίζοντας μάλιστα πως το πρόβλημα εντοπίζεται σε 2 εξαρτήματα του αισθητήρα με το ένα να είναι πιο προβληματικό από το άλλο.

    The Romeo and Juliet components are yin-and-yang parts of the new facial-recognition system that will allow iPhone X owners to unlock their phones by scanning their faces, these people said.

    It has taken more time to assemble the Romeo modules than the Juliet modules, they said, creating an imbalance in supply. That has served as a bottleneck for the iPhone X’s mass production, according to one person, which could possibly crimp supplies beyond typical initial shortfalls when the phone is released Nov. 3.
