A Little About Me

Technology has always represented more to me than devices, applications and technical specifications. It is a way to explore new possibilities, address real-world challenges and better understand the world around us.

My professional background brings together academic research, technology journalism, e-commerce and digital content creation. Although these fields may appear quite different, I see them as connected by a shared principle: looking beyond the surface of an idea to understand its significance and translate it into something useful, accessible and meaningful.

I spent more than a decade living, studying and working in the United Kingdom. That experience, alongside my academic and entrepreneurial work, has had a lasting influence on the way I approach technology, communication and collaboration.

Today, through AppleWorldHellas, THENEWORLD and my podcasts, I continue to explore different dimensions of technology and human creativity. I am interested not only in what technology can do, but also in what it means for the people who use it.

My Work & Creative Projects

AppleWorldHellas

I founded AppleWorldHellas in 2009 as a Greek-language publication dedicated to Apple and the wider technology landscape. Through news coverage, analysis, reviews, practical guides and opinion pieces, my aim is to offer journalism that goes beyond product specifications. I focus on the bigger picture: corporate decisions, industry developments and the ways in which technology shapes everyday life.

AppleWorldHellas Podcast

The AppleWorldHellas Podcast extends my technology journalism into the world of audio. Through commentary and analysis of major developments involving Apple and the broader technology industry, I aim to create an engaging space for news, discussion and informed opinion. To me, a worthwhile technology podcast should do more than report the headlines. It should explore context, consequences and the questions that deserve closer attention.

Blind Spots

Blind Spots is an original narrative fiction podcast that reflects my interest in storytelling and creativity. Its stories bring together mystery, science fiction, technological questions and human dilemmas. Developing characters, fictional worlds and interconnected narratives offers a different way to explore ideas, where imagination meets reflection on the present and the future.

03 / Education & Research

Academic Background & Research

My academic journey took place in the United Kingdom, where I studied computing, internet technologies, networking and intelligent information systems. Research taught me the importance of evidence, critical thinking and a structured approach to solving complex problems.

I completed my doctoral studies at Aston University, focusing on Wireless Sensor Networks and intelligent approaches to deploying applications across distributed sensor environments.

My doctoral thesis was titled “An Intelligent Approach for Deploying Applications in Wireless Sensor Networks”. The research explored methods for more effective application deployment within distributed wireless sensor networks.

During my academic career, I was involved in research projects and scientific publications relating to wireless sensor networks, distributed systems and emerging technological applications. This experience continues to shape the way I evaluate new technologies and their practical implications.

05 / Perspective

Technology Matters When It Matters to People

My experience across research, journalism and entrepreneurship has led me to a simple conclusion: the real value of technology lies not only in what it makes possible, but also in how it is used.

I am particularly interested in how artificial intelligence, digital services and modern technology ecosystems are transforming work, education, creativity and human relationships.

I try to approach every new development with curiosity and a healthy degree of critical distance. I do not believe that every technological breakthrough automatically represents progress. I do believe, however, that informed discussion and meaningful journalism can help us make better decisions.
