Η Apple την Τρίτη ανακοίνωσε το Apple Watch Series 5. Εξωτερικά η συσκευή μοιάζει με τον προκάτοχο της αλλά έχει μια σειρά από χαρακτηριστικά που την κάνουν να ξεχωρίζει. Ίσως αυτό που συγκεντρώνει τα περισσότερα βλέμματα είναι η ικανότητα να έχει μια always on οθόνη για πρώτη φορά με το Apple Watch να μην “κοιμάται” ποτέ.

Άλλα χαρακτηριστικά της σειράς 5 του Apple Watch συμπεριλαμβάνουν μια ενσωματωμένη πυξίδα, διεθνή κλήση βοήθειας ενώ είναι κατασκευασμένα από 100% ανακυκλώσιμο αλουμίνιο. Η αυτονομία του Apple Watch Series 5 και παρά την νέα always on οθόνη παραμένει στις 18 ώρες και έτσι κάποιος μπορεί να έχει μια πλήρη μέρα αυτονομίας χωρίς φόρτιση.

Το Apple Watch Series 5 θα ανοίξει τις προ παραγγελίες του σήμερα και επίσημα λανσάρεται στην αγορά στις 20 Σεπτεμβρίου. Υπάρχουν μια σειρά από διαφορετικά μοντέλα με βάση το σασί τους συμπεριλαμβανομένων ενός από Τιτάνιο, ενός από Κεραμικό υλικό και ένα νέο μαύρο από ανοξείδωτο ατσάλι ως Hermes έκδοση.

Η τιμή εκκίνησης του είναι στα $399 για την GPS έκδοση, $499 για την Cellular ενώ η Apple κρατάει στην αγορά και το Apple Watch Series 3 με μια τιμή εκκίνησης στα $199. Η Apple Watch Series 4 σειρά αποσύρεται από την αγορά.
