Η Apple Arcade υπηρεσία έχει μια σειρά από διαθέσιμους τίτλους οι οποίο μάλιστα συνεχίζουν να αυξάνονται. Η νεότερη προσθήκη αφορά έναν νέο action adventure τίτλο.
Το World’s End Club λοιπόν είναι η νεότερη προσθήκη στην συνδρομητική υπηρεσία gaming της Apple. Πρόκειται για μια action adventure ιστορία και αποτελεί δημιουργία της IzanagiGames. Ο τίτλος μας παρουσιάζει την ιστορία μιας ομάδας 12χρονων που πρέπει να ταξιδέψουν 1,200 χιλιόμετρα και να παλέψουν για την ζωή τους σε ένα θαλάσσιο πάρκο. Ο δημιουργούς του Danganronpa, Kazutaka Kodaka, είναι ο δημιουργικός σκηνοθέτης πίσω από αυτό το παιχνίδι. Επίσης ο Kotaro Uchikoshi, ο δημιουργός της σειράς Zero Escape, είναι σεναριογράφος του World’s End Club.
Η επίσημη περιγραφή του τίτλου αναφέρει:
When they wake up, they’re in a theme park under the sea. Reycho and the others are trapped inside this strange, long-abandoned place. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a mysterious clown appears and orders them to play a “Fate Game”! Before any of them can figure out what’s happening, they’re fighting for their very lives. Will they be able to survive and make it out of this weird place?
The kids are all lost and confused… But then, extraordinary powers begin to awaken within them.
While at the same time… “Abnormal events” are occurring all over the Earth.
